Our name is more than Greek letters. Women in Technical Studies was kept as part of our name to insure that we remember that our purpose is dual. Alpha Sigma Kappa represents our social side, while Women in Technical Studies recognizes our goals of academic achievement.

Alpha Sigma Kappa is dedicated to providing a sisterhood of friendship and support for women pursuing technical degrees. An Alpha Sigma Kappa sister, upon her initation, must be pursuing a degree in a technical major recognized by the Chapter. The degree may be either undergraduate or graduate.
